|  Java Joe's is the place to get your morning coffee and the latest gossip on what's going on in Playa. Ronnie and Joel opened this little coffee shop in May of 97', and it immediately became a Playa institution. So, come in for a caawfee!
Drop in Java Joe's any time morning, noon or night for an espresso, a cappuccino, cafe latte or a normal black coffee, called Cafe Americano here in Mexico. An ice-blended mocha is an awesome and refreshing pick-me-up on a hot day.
Besides coffee, Java Joe's serves standard breakfast fare, baguettes and a good selection of bagels. You can get everything to go. The bagels are named after the local that came up with the combination, adding a colloquial touch to the menu (this way you also know who to thank for a favorite bagel). Try Abyss Dave's turkey and cheese or Java Joe's fresh tuna. A new favorite is the hangover special on an English muffin. (perfect for a rough morning!)
In the afternoon drop by for a homemade Italian sausage sandwich grilled to order with sweet peppers and onions. This is a meal that's sure to satisfy.
