El Trapiche is a beautiful place to enjoy traditional Mexican cuisine. Located on the newer part of 5 th Ave., the patio is a great spot to dine by the fountain and watch the world go by. The inside dinning area is beautiful as well with Mexican handicraft furniture and large colorful paintings. There's also a small courtyard in the back that is very serene. Everything from the exterior walls down to the table cloths is authentic Mexican.
El Trapiche is much more than tacos and empanadas with incredible cuisine specializing in several different regions of Mexico. Owner, Sylvie (also of Byblos), is a world class chef and will amaze you with flavor and presentation. She also boasts a beautiful wine list as well as a full bar menu.
