A strong contender for the throne of Playa's coldest beer, Carboncitos has great tacos,salsas and an ocean view to boot. From the quality of the cut of meat to the furnishings, multimedia system, and grandma's secret sauces (they'll actually tell you how to make them!) they'll exceed your expectations.
Mmmmm! Las salsas! Pumpkin seed, pasilla chile, verde, roja and Captain Dave's (for your own safety, you have to ask for this habanero-based scorcher) Co-owner Jimmy is proud of his tacos al pastor(he eats about nine a day himself) They've got great arrachera and grilled chicken too. If you are looking for a great place to prepare your catch of the day, bring it by. Co-owner Alejandro cooks up some mean whole fish too.
Super-chilled beers are served in frosty mugs and you can look right out to the sea from the front of the restaurant. They play sports and events on a big plasma television. They just seem to do things very well here.
