Dalia and Peter of Chicago (where else?) opened their doors just over two years ago and quickly became a local favorite. They compare evenings at Chicago Don José's to an episode of Cheers-where “everybody knows your name”. Ex-patriate locals come for Dalia's international menu of mouthwatering imported steaks and a hearty list of homemade appetizers and entrées.

Repeat visits from tourists are also testament to the supurb menu and personalized service at Chicago Don José's. One couple spent 21 days in a row eating here, while another came back for eleven consecutive nights! A Dutch couple so loved the Lithuanian Raviolis (Dalia's Grandmother's recipe) that they returned the next night, filling the restaurant with others they'd told about Chicago Don Jose's.

Other favorites include her Chicago BBQ Ribs with homemade BBQ sauce and Black Angus filet with blue cheese sauce. Although the cuts are imported, they are still decently priced. Several seafood and Mexican specialties are also offered, so give yourself plenty of time to choose!

This eclectic international menu makes it hard to visit just once.
