You'll spend the second part of the day in the Mayan village of Pac Chen, where you'll be treated to a delicious, homemade traditional lunch prepared with care by your Mayan hosts. You'll head out in the jungle around Pac Chen where you'll zip-line over one cenote, rappel into another cenote, and swim in the fresh water sacred to the Maya. There's also time for a canoe trip on the neighboring lagoon.

Itinerary

7-8.00am Transport pickups begin.
9:30am Visit at Cobá with its temples, ball game courts and pyramid Nohoch Mul.
12:00noon

Arrival at the Mayan Village.
Lunch and activities: Z-line over cenote, rappelling, swimming and canoeing.

4:30-5pm End of the expedition.

Notes:

Itinerary times/locations are approximate and subject to slight changes within each tour.

Availability: Daily.

Drinks include: Bottled water and fruit juices.

Lunch includes: Variety of homemade traditional yucatecan dishes, rice, beans, empanadas.

What to bring: Bring comfortable footwear to walk in the jungle, swimming gear, extra T-shirt, towel, camera and extra cash (tips, pictures and souvenirs).

Transport: Transportation is included in the price for scheduled pickup points at various hotels in Playa del Carmen and Cancun. Those staying in hotels not within the scheduled pickup boundaries will have to arrange for their own transportation to a pickup point. You will be notified of the closest pickup location with your confirmation email.

Important:  This expedition is not suitable for people with severe physical or motor handicaps or serious heart problems, nor for obese people , those who suffer from claustrophobia, or those who do not know how to swim. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women. Children under the age of 6 may participate under the responsibility and direct supervision of a responsible parent or family member. People under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate in this expedition.

Cancellations: 48 hours notice before your scheduled pickup time is required for cancellation with refund. Cancellations with refund accepted 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time with medical certification only. Since rain in this area is very localized and most of your time is spent in the water, there is no cancellation for rainy weather. Changes to the date of reservation can be made with no extra charge up to 48 hours prior to the expedition.
