Royal Palms Reviews?

We're heading down the end of next month and have reserved a condo at Royal Palms. After checking their site and the "Availability" feature of the site I see they are quite booked for the next several months. Having done periodic searches about these condos I keep coming up with the same few posts about this complex. Kind of surprised I haven't heard mention of this complex in any trip reports.

Just curious, has anyone stayed there recently that hasn't posted anything about the Royal Palms Condominiums?

It'll be nice walking to Mamitas everyday

You WON'T be disappointed! We booked there again for our next trip. The pictures on their web site ARE representative of the facility. It is not on the beach but it is only a short walk to Mamitas Beach Club. Not a problem for us. The pool at The Palms is more of a feature, I use it for a quick dip to cool off in the evening, otherwise head for the beach.

For us the Palms has a great location...guiet neighborhood...easy access to 5th Ave shopping and restaurants...and close to Mamitas. FWIW we only used a cab twice the last time we were there...otherwise everything we needed was within an easy walk.

Be sure you book a tour with James and Anna ...we did Tulum with Anna and had a GREAT day.

What unit are you booking?

Yes, I failed to mention in my initial post that we booked the condo through Anna. Now Heather has stepped in to handle any additional correspondence and of course does so in the same timely, professional manner that we come to expect from PlayaInfo. We also just recently opted for the Airport transfer through PlayaInfo. It is quite reassuring knowing our travel arrangements are being handled by PlayaInfo. No surprises, no worries, just peace of mind.

We waited a bit too long to book and the only one bedroom condo available the end of November was Suite #9. The couch pulls out into a bed so our daughter and her friend will have their own sleeping area separate from us. As much as we enjoy eating out in Playa it will be so nice to have a full kitchen for those times when we don't want a large meal or don't want to take the time to go out.

That's nice to hear about the location. I know we'll need a cab to head to Chedraui, but like the idea of walking to various locations. We have never been as far north as Mamitas so looking forward to that part of the beach.

Unless you need to go to Chedraui you can walk to Super San Francisco for groceries.
