This Wednesday on 60 Minutes Wednesday they will run an interview on Jimmy Buffett.

We did a weekend trip this summer to a small town in Michigan that had a
Cheeseburger Festival. It was a week of Buffett type bands. Two bands a night. During the day they had family type activites. On Sunday they had cardboard boat races. (Boats/rafts could only be made of cardboard and duct tape). The Parrotheads were out in force.

Alot of silly hats and shirts.

Had a delicious "cheeseburger in paradise" at Jimmy Buffet's in New Orleans... even found the "lost shaker of salt" (actually, you could buy one...)

Oh yeah, I am well aware of it.

Even canceled a meeting at school so that I could stay home to watch it! Not leaving it up to my taping abilities since I've only had the VCR for 4 years and have yet to figure the damn thing out!

P.S I won't be working after 8PM tomorrow so no one call me!

Hey David B! My husband Ken and I were at Caseville for the Ch'burger/paradise weekend. Wonder if we saw ya there. There's a great camp-out each summer too that we attended for the first time this year. It was in Sterling at White's canoe livery. Big fun. Can send you info if you're interested. Barb

Hi bbaball, I was the one wearing the Hawian shirt, and beads.

Along with 5000 others. We stayed at the Bella Vista Inn. We were only going to stay for 2 days but the hotel had a cancelation so we ended up staying from thursday till sunday. I was amazed

by the decorations the Parrotheads but up around their campsites and even the hotel rooms. A very cool event. I like Jimmy Buffett but am not yet to Parrothead status.
