Looking for great salsa band
Me and my honey love Tulum, and we're having our wedding there in November. I am looking for a great local salsa band- just good people who really love to play. I found one band, led by Sissy Vizuet, a Venezuelan woman- her band is called Sensations (I think). She seems incredibly nice (by email) but it's pretty weird to have to pay 50% deposit without even hearing them. Does anyone down there know this band, or any other great local bands for a wedding? Doesn't have to be super-polished, or in matching tuxedos- but good musicians.
Thank you so much for any advice! Laura and Mitch |

Hi, I am getting marries South of PDC in January. Also looking for a local (cheap) slsa merengue band that can play for at least 4 hours. I have not been able to find any on line. I am about to just come down there, go to bars, listen to bands, and approach them. I can;t even find a contact for mambo cafe. Did you find anything? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks! Rosa |

check out the Salsa section on www.batanga.com - you can listen online and buy the music you're listening to if you're so inclined. Every kind of latin music is there...its a great site.
