The only fire I've experienced was when someone set my Grandma's house on fire. The house was robbed while she was at our house for Thanksgiving. When the robbers left they started the sofa on fire. Luckily a neighbor saw it right away and called the FD so it wasn't a total loss. It really is heart wrenching to go in the house and see things you love destroyed. There was no money in the house and they think that's why the fire was set.
I wish them the best. The next months will be difficult getting back to their lives again.
