Many of us take little holiday trips.
I am writing this from a hotel in Florence, OR - on the south central coast (jx2 adn jsotherj, we are here for two nights if you wanna drive and it isn't too far from where your g-daughter lives
) In an hour or so our friends will arrive from Arcata, where they have been doing Xmas with their daughter and son.
The drive over was wet and, in the coast range, a little snowy. I am now starting to relax. After two nights here we'll head to Astoria (just across the river from Washington, CaroleLB and JamieBlondeHair, FYI
)
Then it is back home for us, to get ready for a very small gathering on NYE. Jan. 1 we apply repair kits to our memories and prepare to go back to work for another year
