You have a good point there Isomami

You are right. My review of Dona Mary is confusing and inadequate. I have changed it and it will be in my next update of the list. I appreciate your pointing this out and keeping me honest.

I had heard a good referral to Dona Mary, and because it is right down the street from El Fogon, one night when El Fogon was full and I did not want to wait or walk down the block to El Pastorcito, I decided to give Dona Mary a try. It was full of locals, and they did not seem to have a menu, which seemed to be pretty limited. I got the breaded chicken cutlet plate. It was very well priced, but completely forgetable and without much taste. From what I could see from the other diners' dinners, the attraction seemed mostly based on price benefit. I passed on the recommendation I had heard, but tried not to give it my personal thumbs-up, but it did not come out clearly in my review.

But I would love to hear from other folks who tried Dona Mary so they can confirm my previous one-time impression or maybe update me as to the improved quality of their product. Come on. Help me out here.
