Thanks for the explanation Heather. I remembered it in a conversation this afternoon that yes, some countries donīt seem to know the need for tipping here. We had to poke our relatives from the UK a few times... and when dining out over there we were amazed that no tip was quite acceptable. The tip last night was right up front so we knew we were paying a tip on top of the total.
