Have you tried the «Java» botton? You have to have «Java» installed.

Having the current temperature shown in the photo would be great too! Not sure if that would be easy to do.

That is exactly what I had been thinking.. Not sure how feasible it would be, but with all of the threads on weather lately, it would be neat to have the temperature posted in the little information bar at the top containing the date and time.. Although some may argue that the daytime temperatures may not actually fluctuate significantly enough to make it worthwhile.. After all, if you are leaving snow at home, does it really matter if it is 89 or 92 in Playa? Well it does to me!!

Cheers.. Mark..

as previously posted, a weather station is on the way, courtesy of MichaelHolmes, to be installed at his Villa Flamboyan with the output hosted on this site.

>>>i got turned on to the webcam by a friend who's spent some time in Playa...it's awesome BUT i'm in Edmonton Alberta Canada and it's going to be very cold for a long while here minus 15 Celcius now going to minus 25 for a week....burrrr! I wonder if the webcam can report the TEMPERATURE somewhere on screen. the date and time are there so can it tell me how warm it is? >>> I look at it through the day just as a teaser but maybe if I saw the TEMPERATURE too I'd move down there sooner....
