I feel like a spy... I've been reading this forum for months but I've just joined tonight. I know so much about you guys, it's embarassing - you are one honest bunch of people. The advice on this forum is great. I must admit some of you forum old timers have so much info and your love of PDC is a bit scary.

So after lot's of work I found a reasoanble low end funky hotel, booked 6 plane tickets and I read this forum quite regularly. This is our first time to PDC Dec 22 - Jan 4th. and I guess we'll find out what makes you guys so passionate about PDC. We are meeting up with our university age kids for a Xmas in PDC

Xmas day - what should we expect - will restaurants be open? what kind of celebrations goes on etc
