YOU NEVER KNOW WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN
it all depends on how many flights show up at the same time
been in and out in 15-20 minutes and have waited an hour
the only savings on time are carry-on vs checked baggage
you dont need much carry on saves a lot of aggravation

Don't sweat the stuff you have NO control over!! You're there!!

It's clean and air-conditioned and, I think, pretty well organized. Years ago it used to be hot as hell, a real sweat bin... and a virtual cattlecall to the immigration stations.

The last time we went (May 2004), it probably took about 1.5-2 hours to get through it all. The whole time I was totally upbeat, happy, and smiling. I kept saying to David, "This is soooooooo worth it!" Cuz IT IS!!!!!

Put a smile on your face and try to spread a little sunshine around. You can almost tell who the regular Playa-ers are..... they're the ones like me.... patient and smiling and anticipating a wonderful visit in a fabulous place! A couple of hours (if it even takes that long) to get through it is an itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny task to endure for the privilege of being in Playa!!

I was out and waiting for my bus in 20 mins last January on a Friday. All I had was a backpack though.
