I didn't try the fish filets at El Oasis (only the shrimp and the marlin tacos, which were VERY good!!), but I can honestly say that the THICK Black Grouper filet I had at Ula Gula ~ upstairs on the corner of Calle 10 y Avenida 5 ~ was absolutely to DIE FOR! I have been thinking about it ever since....perfectly cooked and sitting atop a pile of mashed potatoes which had been imbedded with some sort of greens...then topped with an exquisite sauce.....YUUUUUM!!!! I am NOT a person who fixates on food, so just the thought of wishing I was going to dinner there this evening says something! Each of our meals ran less than 150 pesos each and were worth every penny!

Ula Gula is absolutely beautiful too ~ candles and lovely, trendy lighting ~ very continental in mood and feel. Mike and I had the corner table which is PERFECT for people watching. Luckily, we got seated without reservations, but they are certainly recommended!
