I'm just saying hi to everyone here because you all have been so great in helping me pick my location for my honeymoon! I have never been to PDC, but in doing some research for where I wanted to spend my honeymoon, this town came up early and often!
I wanted to find a good, fun-loving town without a huge spring break atmosphere, and it sounds like this is definitely going to be the place!
A bit of background on yours truly.....
I'm a 27 year old state government employee from Portland, Oregon. On May 9, I'm getting married to a gorgeous latina who has been to Mexico only 1 time more than I have.
On May 11th, we'll be flying out to PDC and staying at the Royal PDC. We picked that place for the food (I'm a big guy, 6'6", 350, and need plenty of it!) and the gorgeous looking beaches. I plan to not spend all my time there. I picked that location also because of its proximity to the city itself, which I plan to explore quite a bit. I also picked it because of some of the glowing reviews I read on this forum! We'll be in town for a full week.
If any of you have any specific romantic locations/restaurants, I'd be much abliged!
If you have any great drinkin' spots to clue me in on, I'd be even more abliged!
