Okay, I am really getting excited to be in Playa and meet some of the wonderful people from this site! Being a newbie I was wondering how this peep meet thing works. I know about the nerka beads, but if you don't have those how do you recognize each other, especially if this is your first trip? I have my picture as my avatar but most don't ~ just thought pictures might make it a little easier to identify fellow peeps. I also thought it would be great if we could get to know each other a little better before the Beer Bucket Meet! So I will go first and anyone else who wants to tell a little about them selves I think that would be great!
My name is Kim, I am 37 and am from a small town in Oregon. I am an office manager and work really hard so that I can support myself and my 15 year old son and of course travel every year. I will be traveling with my sweetheart Ron, my son Dustin, my mom & dad and one of their friends and my best friend from high school and her husband - quite a herd! We are staying at the Grand Mayan Riviera Maya (Free condo from folk's timeshare) and will be renting a car. I plan on spending a lot of time in Playa Del Carmen and am super excited especially after reading the wealth of great info on this site. I am really looking forward to visiting places like the Beer Bucket and Bad Boyz (Thursday or Saturday), drinking many margies and soaking up some sun! I am also looking forward to meeting and making some great new friends and would love to hear from any and all of you who are going to make the peep meet!
