To the point that if I happen to turn on the tv when the news has already started, I sometimes wonder if it's real footage or the movies. I think the media should ban certain images during daytime shows, not to lessen their horror or importance, but to give it the right weight. If we see the same violence day after day, sadly, we get used to it. I remember the first time I saw people quarrel on tv. It was a political debate, and one of the men just stood up, shouted to the other, and left the studio. Everyone was in shock, and it was only about 15 years ago. Now, it's what you see every day on tv.

I agree with you in regards to European channels, but IMHO, US channels limit what is shown to the public.
