Giallo Limone......

Went to this place last night for a "special" b-day dinner, party of 8. My mother was there last yr and raved about the food and service. Things have changed from last yr to now it seems....
The food, according to my mother has not changed, still very good! I had the chicken dish, Pollo Giallo Limone.. I think it was called.. THAT was very tasty. Another fella had the Grouper filet, very tasty as well. A few other had a Pasta dish, Fetticini Giallo Limone (I think) that was said to be very good from those that ordered it, I on the other hand did not like it.. maybe alittle to creamy for my taste, but thats probably why I didn't order it in the first place. All dishes were large portions which was nice to see.

Now the bad news..... The wine pours were very, very cheap. 73 pesos for 2 inches of liquid in this huge glass??? The service was a step lower than Chucky Cheese. It took at least 30 min. for just the drink order to be placed. The so-called server was way to worried about the fifth ave scene and his girlfriends...we even questioned if this guy was supposed to be there, working there. He was doing this comedy thing that was very old and exhausting and confusing. We did not get any bread, oils, or anything BEFORE the meal.. the meal came along with the bread....(kinda backwards, if ya ask me).
We were thinking that if a group of 8 is dumping around 350usd for meals, drinks and service, it would of, and should been way better. There are not that many tables there, it's a small place and they were not "swamped" so the service should of been top-notch.. is was not.
Food-good... 8+ out of ten
Service-bad. 1 out of ten
