It's a horrorific place, just like a Candy Store for big boys, you go drooling everywhere you look.

Interesting... didn't know Dallas had more than one Fry's Electronics, are the others relatively new? I've been to the one down on I-20 but never gave any thought to inquire if there were others. Really didn't cared much for that store but am impressed by the I-45 branch in Houston. It's caliber is more like their California stores. Surprised you didn't put it on Critter's hot list while he was visiting.

That would be correct. It use to be an Incredible Universe
The one out close to Valley Ranch has been there about a year now Jimmy.
I was one of the first 200 customers during the Grand Opening.
They gave me a $25 gift certificate for in-store purchase

I am traveling to playa in August along with my laptop with wifi and wondered where in playa you were able to pick up a wifi signal? Did you have to change any settings?

I've gotten a signal at the Tequilla Barrel for about a year or so now and I didn't have to do anything (I'm on a Mac by the way). I think the network is coming from Deseo upstairs.

Michael, didn't you take one of those wifi keychain thingys with you last time?

I have two desktops at home on a wireless network with a cable modem. I was thinking of adding a laptop so I can sit my lazy but down in front of the TV and surf the internet.
That's my setup every night...

54g wireless.
Works fabulously well.

Linksys for me, for no particular reason

I use a Linksys router because the signal and how far away you can be from the router and still pick up a signal is ten times greater then the SBC or Comcast Hubs that I have.
