Oh! I'm not too picky, but AC would probably be nice in May. Also, geek-son that I have, WiFi is an added plus. Otherwise, as we have 11 nights in Mexico and prefer to spend $$$ on good eats and drinks, I'm looking in the $40-70 range. Beach front isn't necessary, but convenience to all the happenings around town helps!

We are also in playa from april 30 - may 6
My husband (he is also a DJ) and me in our early and late 30s...8 year old son and my 58 years young mom.
We're booked at hotel riviera caribe maya..70 dlls per night...WIfi...swimming pool, close to mamitas and kool beach....just do a google search.
I also recommend Coco rio and alux
since your son is a DJ...he will LOVEEE playa nightlife...lots of cool places.
It's so cool you travel with your son...I hope that when my boy is grown up...he will continue traveling with Mua...LOL.....
