Ummm....well, I hate to say it Karen but you may have some damage control to deal with when Cappy gets home. There recently was this nice little documentary on HBO about s-e-x (shhhh!) that Cappy seemed VERY interested in so we allowed him to watch it. Of course, WE didn't want to watch it but humored the little guy anyway.
Now he's been bugging us to stay out late, we caught him drinking and smoking and there have been late night calls from a few girl caps!
He sure picks up bad habits quickly! Next thing ya know, he'll want to grow his hair long and stop shaving....like some of the OTHER Red Sox caps are allowed to do.
Good luck with him Karen, he's a handful!

Well Denise, my Yankee cap WAS a bit ticked off that Cappy was allowed to go to Mexico while he had to stay home and keep an eye on all the other caps....mostly.

I asked him if he would be interested in taking a holiday trip to Playa with a host family, one that would take good care of him (read: not the enemy!) and he was all for it!

So if you PM me your address, I'd be happy to box him up and ship him down to you.

Well, I guess it's time to finish up my little report because Shammy says it's about time that I get packed up and sent on back to my loving family.

Remember I said that I got to go to Playa one more time? Well, I did! But Shammy didn't wear me this time and kind of forgot about me in her bag for most of this visit.

However........she DID remember to get a picture of me here:



You can see this other cap hanging around in the backround and I think he wanted in on some of this picture action but I was like "NO WAY", this is MY story!

I did get a picture with this guy...he was a little stiff but seemed nice enough. The plaque in front of him said "Player Of Ball" so I guess I fit right in here.



Since Shammy packed me away in her suitcase, I didn't get to see much of the trip home, other than the baggage compartment of an American Airlines plane. But it's all good, after the busy week I had, I needed the rest.

Here's my first picture back (do I look tan? )



Shammy tried to patch me up as best as she could, with a bandaid to my beenie top:



Shammy was also nice enough to let me post this trip report with her computer:




But little did she know some of the fun I had while she wasn't looking. The whole Playa experience made me realize what fun life could be and I no longer was content with my goody two shoes image.

So there you have it folks...the end of my journey! I hope you enjoyed my travels and thanks to mom for letting me take this awesome trip and meet so many new people.

Well done Cappy! I've read plenty of trip reports by other types of headwear - cowboy hats, berets, bowlers and fedoras - they just don't hold a candle to your account. This definately gets my vote for "Best Trip Report By Headwear"

Karen, looks like you will have to give Cappy some " tough love" after his trip with Shammy to Playa. You Most definetaly have to keep him away from Slick and the Homies... they are a bad lot. Bucky, Peppy, and Leppy seem to get into mischief too.
