I don't really know much about Trevor Linden, other than the fact the he was once President of the player's union (may even still be the president for all I know), but I have no doubt that he's just as the posters on here advertise.
This video is just one more example of the amount of class that NHL players generally have. They spend all their time beating the living daylights out of each other, but at the end of the game they show the utmost respect for each other.
The Stanley Cup playoffs start this week, and it is my favorite part of a hockey season, because the intensity level and hatred for the opponent increases substantially. Yet, what do you see at the end of each bitterly-fought playoff series? More handshakes for and respect shown to the opponent such as what is shown in this video.
