The Walk For Animals here is an event I look forward too almost as much as going to PDC! Last year Sue and I brought our three dogs who are all from the Golden Valley shelter here in Minnesota. Our newest but oldest dog Woody was a staff favorite there as he spent over two months there over the Christmas and New Year's holiday's. He was also a local TV star featured on a "pet of the week" segment on a local news show. We brought him home two days after that show! (I had already fallen in love with him prior to this).
My point is that this event draws attention to ALL animals in shelters looking for a home and as some of you already know, us Minnesota peeps are great in numbers! We could really do some good for the Peanut shelter so please consider this. As Sue stated, this event brought in over 1 million dollars last year and I'm sure many who donated would be MORE than willing to give a little more for another great shelter!
I would also love to see you and your "furbabies" (OK, last year someone had a crocodile
