There is NO WAY I am going to Starbucks, McDonalds, Burger King or any other US chain while I'm visiting Playa this summer. Don't get me wrong... there's nothing like a Big Mac and fries when the craving hits you. But I'm going there to soak up a little Mexican culture and partake of the local cuisine. I can get a "flattie pattie" anytime a few blocks from home.  (Oh, and I will be drinking my share of coffee while I'm there... but it will be from a local vendor.) |
I'm with ya' . I cringe everytime I see a thread about Starbucks.
