Just back . . . great place

Why haven't we heard more about Calica and PDC? This place is great! Stopped here on port-of-call on our cruise. Wish more time here than Cozumel. Great weather, beautiful beaches and women. Great shopping, resorts as you drive into DT look great. Any recommendations on the resorts? Do all include golf? What is the least expensive way to transfer from Cancun airport? Do some resorts offer shuttle service from AP and into DT?

Where is Calica?

This is where we docked. Calica is the region's port for the "car ferry" which transports vehicles and goods to Cozumel and back. It is also a port of entry for some cruise lines that dock there instead of Playa del Carmen or Cozumel. Calica is located approximately 6 kilometers south of Playa del Carmen in the Mayan Riviera off Hwy 307.
