Just read a little about your earthquake. 5.2 That's big for you guys. That would be medium for us in California, but would probably cause very little damage for us as the buildings are built to a much higher standard than a 5.2.
No kidding - the Mississippi ran uphill during the Big New Madrid Quake. We lived in that area for a couple of decades. Moved out here where it is safe

There was a big wave of preparedness stuff back in the 80's and early 90's. The university spent millions on earthquake retrofits.
