Thumbs up Texas Tequila Tip

Lil G sent me on a mission to rent some movies earlier and when I pulled up to the vid store, I got distracted by the liqour store a couple of doors down and Knowing I only had a couple of shots of Chinaco left in the freezer, I figured I'd see if they had a pint of Julio, but they didn't , so I settled for a something new and different.... Buscadores Anejo.
WOW !!! very cool purple bottle, fruity wine like aroma but a very light anejo, almost clear with an intense flavor burst that fades away into nothing without any burn.... very smooth. I'm guessing this was aged 12 months in white wine barrels, but their website doesn't reveal the secret (buscadorestequila.com). Very intriguing taste. Women will definitely dig this selection.
Limited availability at select stores in Texas in the Valley, San Antonio, San Marcos (how convienient!), Austin, Fort Worth and a few other places. Check the web site for locations. You may be able to special order from your local store.
$35 price tag puts it in line with the likes of Sauza Tres G's.

Now back to those shots !!!!
