Just came back from my dad's 75th birthday party and since all of our blood relations were there one question came up again: is my mom's cousin not her cousin but her half-brother?

My granddad died 9 years ago and we know that he took a 'secret' into his grave with him. There are a couple of things he never told his daugthers (my mom and my aunt) and since my mom's cousin does look like my grandfather my family has been wondering whether this was a coincidence or not. We found out some time back that this cousin's wife had seen the resemblance as well and she was wondering about the same question. Today we were talking about a pic that my grandfather had in a scrapbook that I saw last summer. It shows him naked (from behind) when he was a prisoner of war in France during WWII. Today my mom's cousin told us that his mom had the same pic but on that one my grandfather had written 'The interesting parts are those you can't see on this pic.'. We laughed a lot when he told us today but it was one more hint in the direction that we might be right with the guess that my mom's cousin might be her half-brother.... we know that we'll probably never find out if we are right. Still we ARE guessing.
