Great news that you are coming to Playa!
My advice is: You are already staying at a resort, walk 15 minutes north and visit the town of Playa itself. Other resorts will be pretty much the same as you have at the Azteca, while Playa offers you an abundance of restaurants bars and clubs to experience something different and special.
