Hello!
I'll be at the Riu Palace Mexico April 22-28 for my stepsister's wedding on the beach at the resort.
Even though I know all the food/drinks/beach/pools/amenities will keep us at the Riu resorts for most of the time during our time in Playa, we obviously want to explore the town. How far is the walk to 5th Avenue from Riu Palace Mexico?
Is there a city bus that stops close by the resort?
Also, is there some kind of shopping area close to the Riu Palace Mexico, closer than downtown?
I hear that you should use bottled water when brushing teeth...does that mean the water in the Riu's bathrooms is not filtered?
I have never been to PDC, never been to an all inclusive, so of course I am out of my mind with excitement about the upcoming trip. For me, 2 days and counting until I see that amazing ice-blue water. Our group of 10 will be there before we know it!
