Not to worry, Marissa.... it's called an umbilical hernia and it happens.....it does look just like an outie belly button - one of my dogs has one, she's 7 year old. as long as it doesn't change size, shape, etc, it's all good. If you notice a change in it you should have it checked. Maybe it was repaired with the other surgery - if so, that's great, but my Sheena's never was and she is fine. You must be itching to get home and back to your beautiful Karma.....
And bless Claire and Paddy (and Paulo too) for giving her some special care - what a nice thing to do!
