Personally, and I think this is fairly typical, most atheists don't believe in ghosts or angels or anything else that is supernatural as opposed to 'of the natural world'. Not chupacabras either!

(because I am an agnostic atheistic though, I am undecided on the possibility of a higher power at work in the universe; it's possible, I am open minded- but I don't believe in the Judeo-Christian god.)
My worldview is more of a karmic, be a good person and you will be rewarded type of thing....that our choices make our lives the way they are, for the most part, and that happiness is largely a choice we make (barring mental illness of course!), yet sometimes random sh*t happens we have no control over and you have just to deal the best you can, shake it off, move on, and stay positive.
