I was kinda hoping we wouldn't see the Wings in the 2nd round as the Avs haven't fared too well against them lately. But, after that first game I'm thinking it might be a pretty good series. Do hope Forsberg returns from his groin injury.
When asked about teams Forsberg was thinking of signing with a month ago, the interviewer listed a number of teams Forsberg was rumored to have been in conversation with. One of the teams the announcer mentioned was Detroit. Forsberg let him finish, then calmly stated, "I could never play at Detroit." Forsberg is nowhere near the player he was back in those days, but him being half as good as he used to be is twice as good as most players.
