Of course, he is. He is, also, the only candidate who has been willing to cross over and work with the other side, even when he knew it would be to his own political detriment. Obama is cited by liberal organizations as being the MOST liberal Senator, because he votes by the handbook. He talks of working together, but there is NO evidence that he ever has. Words or actions? Don't get me wrong, I like McCain. I think he represents a FAR different breed of Republican than currently runs the White House. I like a lot of what McCain stands for, but fundamentally, I cannot get past his unyielding support of the war in Iraq. I think that is pure folly and VERY dangerous for our country.
While I do think that Obama would make a FAR better president and do much better at bringing the country together than would McCain, I wouldn't not be heartbroken and despondent if he wins the way I was when Bush won in '04. I also don't think McCain would provide me by then end of his term with the quiver full of
"I told you so"s that Bush has provided me with at the end of his term. That's a good thing.
