When do busses start?

Hi....

Does anyone happen to know what time the busses from the Iberostar Lindo into Playa start running in the morning? Thanks!!

Michelle,

The bus leaves from the lobby 9 times per day: 9,10 and 11 AM, and 12,2,4,6,8 and 9 PM. The return bus to the resort comes back 30 minutes after each of those times.

The bus will drop you off at the Aviary, not right in Playa so you'll have to walk about 10ish minutes to get into the heart of things.

OKay....hmmm...so...I'll have to take a taxi into town if I'm going on one of James and Anna's tours...Right? Which is fine...just need to know. Thanks...

If you have to be there before 9:30 AM, I'd say yep!

I know that there's lots of info on the collectivos around, but I has trying to find out approx. when they start and stop running. I heard that the may go until about midnight?

Just checking- for example if we take a collectivo to Xaret and stay for the dinner show, or take one to a neiboring town and stay into the evening, just want to make sure that they would still be running afterward...

Lobo,

I'm not 100% sure exactly what time they stop (someone else may know) but I don't believe they run until midnight. Collectivos started up as a way for the locals to travel up and down Highway 307 to and from work. Tourists then started using them but they basically are not there to service us, they are there to service the locals. Since the workday usually ends in the late afternoon/early evening, I don't think they will still be running at midnight.
