we printed out your list and took it along on our recent trip. Mostly we agreed with your favorites and we realized many were "off the beaten Path" so we ventured out. We loved Tango Taco and was hoping to have enough time to go there a 2nd time, but it didn't happen. We liked Babe's very much, too. Someone told us the food depended upon who was cooking, but we must have hit it right because it was excellent. We ate at La Parilla and it was fun, but I didn't think the food was that good. We also ate at Ajua! again as it was so much fun last time. It was on Sunday and we ate early so the food was OK, but there wasn't much fun happening there which was disappointing. We ate shrimp tacos off the carts on Juarez & 5th and they were "to die for".............we were a bit nervous about eating from these carts but when we saw one of the restaurants roll out a fresh cart for the afternoon crowd, we followed it up the street and ordered. It became a ritual for us and we enjoyed the food very much. We ate excellent enchiladas at Hot Baking Co. on a friends recommendation and would definitely go back there, too. Just too many restaurants and not enough time.......................
