Hello!
We have a little problem, i hope somebody can help me out (one part of it is the urgency...)! Next thursday we are leaving for Mexico. A pal of mine is going to marry his girl-friend and we are invited for the wedding ceremony. Therefore we prepared a nice card and some gifts. But we do not speak Spanish nor we knew anyone. And because of her being Mexican and most guests as well, a Spanish slogan is needed for the card. We looked in the internet but were not able to find a good translation. Somebody said "todos buenos a la boda", another "buena suerte para la unión", however, none of them sounds right. What is your/ the translation of "Best wishes for your wedding"? Or what would you write and what is the corresponding translation? (The other side of the card is in German: "Herzlichen Glückwunsch zur Hochzeit" if somebody is able to understand it.) THANKS A BOMB in advance! |

But I would write something like, "We wish you etheral happiness in your life together."
"Les deseamos felicidad eterna en su vida juntos." ------ Interesting, using the Net I got "Recuerdos para su boda" as the translation of your original phrase, in both Altavista Babel Fish and Google translation utilities. Both are useless in this case, as that translates back to: "Memories for its wedding" |

Wedding congratulations
How does these abbreviated versions sound? Help me out Jesus.
"Mejores deseos por su boda" = Best wishes on your wedding. (loose translation) " ˇFelicitaciones!" = Congratulations Steve Ryberg might have some suggestions. Cheers, Alicia |

Love each other forever = "Amense mutuamente para siempre" or "Amense para siempre" The mutuamente (each other) can be excluded, is understandable.
Congratulations for your wedding = Felicitaciones por su boda Be happy for ever = Sean felices por siempre. |
