In this case, your claim sounds to me like the equivalent of the comments made by some that there's no need to worry about the black vote if Clinton is nominated, because surely all those black folks'll just vote for the Democrat, like always, and not the white guy Republican, and also not stay home. Too much stereotyping and taking them for granted in that, for me. Plus, I bet you'd find you the results were rather different from what you claimed.
