How do you give your mom a happy Mother's Day?
I am here with mine in Ohio (for one thing) and will do what makes her happy, ie: going to church with her (oh, the horror!
) and taking her to lunch at Red Lobster (her choice... my choice is closed on Sundays... what's
that about?
). I'm also giving her a couple small framed photos and a nice card saying how proud I am to be her daughter. Amazingly enough, all it says is true. She's made me crazy at times, and still does to some extent, but at 85-years-old, none of that matters anymore.
So tomorrow will be all about her.
