Since we're at it, I've had a cold and I'm still nursing a raspy cough. What's your advice on self-medication, please?
I've been drinking a mix of honey, eucalyptus and lemon but the fags kind of undo all the good work.
Also, I had some mosquito bites round my ankle, which I scratched religiously (a la Holy Inquisition, if you see what I mean): since I forgot to clip my toenails they've become sores and Paddy keeps trying to lick them. Is this bad, do you think I should cover them or Paddy might make them go all infected and stuff? She does that at night when she jumps in bed.
By the way, is it healthy to sleep with a bitch?
I noticed some of the Peeps have ben careless with their sun exposure and have turned a shade of red that makes me squirm everytime I look at them. I was thinking of suggesting aloe vera but don't know if some of the poor wretches might be alergic to it (you know, squeeze the leaves and spread the goodness, coz it worked for me when I first got here - although it ruined my white linen shirt because I put it on before it was absorbed).
Is there such a thing as being allergic to aloe vera?
Another pressing matter, if you don't mind: why is it that eating eggs for breakfast seems to induce seasickness more than any other foods?
Stew came diving with me yesterday and was turning a sickly shade of yellow by the end of the first dive (Tortuga. Yes, it has reopened!). I suppose I dind't help by telling him stories of big waves, high seas and bouncing boats but I had no idea these could induce yet more discomfort ().
At some point he wanted me to disembark him at Phase 1 so he could walk all the way back to the shop instead of staying on my boat.
Is there a psychossomatic aspect to motion sickness you may be aware of?
Thanks for your time, is it true that you can't charge for consultations while you're still a student doctor? I ask because I have a ton of other questions I'd like answered and low season is upon us.
OMG!!!
Poor Paulo.........you sound like a scratching, snotty, itching mess! Joana better get paypal!

And Stewart....................sorry, couldn't help myself!
