For the quietest rooms stay in the Uxmal building. I stayed in room # 738 in Uxmal, it is a JS OF, and it was great. You are away from the noise of the pool and the view was great. Also, the JS OV on the north side of the Tulum building are quiet. Our friends stayed in one of them and they had a decent view, though you had to lean over the balcony a bit. My final two cents is never stay in one of their swim up rooms, unless you don't value your privacy and you want to hear people getting bombed at the swim up bar all day. I love getting lit as much as the next guy, but those are a waste of money IMHO.
