Margaritaville Tequila

There's no place to post a review for this tequila in the "Reviews" section here....

I ordered a shot of house reposado tequila with a shot of "sangrita" at a party last night at a local Spanish restaurant, The Columbia, which has been in Tampa since 1903.

Seems like the "house" tequila there is MARGARITAVILLE Tequila, which apparently has some ties to Jimmy Buffet and his well-known restaurants by the same name.

Ahhh...how to say this? Margaritaville Tequila is as BAD as Sammy Hargar's Cabo Wabo is excellent. Margaritaville had a HARSH, burning taste which almost caused the hairs on my arms to stand up straight! I guess disguised in a Margarita, it wouldn't be so offensive, but a sipping tequila, it is NOT! Two thumbs down!
