Very interesting. We are staying at the Maya Bric, or what ever it's new name is, for the first 14 days of our time in the Playa area. Good to know it has a name change. It is good to check this site often!!! Denisea you are a wealth of info. Up on everything. Who ever says the Google Guys know everything just hasn't tapped into your info capabilities. hahaha

If you get back before I leave drop me a post and let me know what the hotel is like. thx a bunch. Here on the island tonite it is raining cats and dogs. Just pouring. Looking forward to the sunshine. So it is James that does the naming. hmmmm Does he know something we don't??? We are going to take one of his tours so then will get to meet this infamous man. bye for now

James comments on the sparkly point on this thread, for your reference. (Scroll down to post 14.)
As for denisea's well deserved reputation with respect to research, I suspect that forum-goddess will shortly enter (if it hasn't already entered) the lingo of PlayaInfo as a new verb just as google has entered English, as in, "You don't know [insert relatively obscure fact/question possibly tangentially related to Playa]? Why don't you just forum-goddess it?" Steve |

Please have no concerns about the Maya Bric it is a lovely place to stay. There are many staff members who are multi lingual both there and at the dive shop (Tank Ha ) so it is easy to get help if you need it. Even tho I have an apartment this year I have been there many days to see the friends I have made on the staff, and we are using Tank Ha for our dive shop. WE are actually missing staying there, as we ususally are there for 2/ 3 week stays per year. But due to the fact we were staying for 2 months this year an apartment was the way to go. Hope I eased your concerns.
