Whats Your Xmas Tree Look Like?

Just wondering. We have not gotten one yet. Who has the best Xmas tree In Playa? Think I will start taking some pics of Xmas things In Dallas. NM always has some cool trees in their windows. Not to mention Highland Park, Turtle Creek.

This is a pic of the one they put up in the courtyard of our town's city hall a couple of years ago. Every year they get one from a city resident who offers it because it's become too large for their yard. It has to be a minimum of 40' tall. City crews move it to city hall and decorate it, starting with 7,000 lights placed by hand. They've had some dandys some years. You'll notice that was a year when we had essentially no snow until about two weeks before Christmas. Some people were starting to worry it might not be a white Christmas in Winnipeg, an unthinkable possibility. But then it snowed...big time! And those same folks who had been so worried about lack of snow a short time before were the first to gripe about having to shovel their cars out a few days later.

Well, it's tall and green, has branches and needles, smells nice, will have lights on it and things hanging from it...you know, just like an Xmas tree is suppose ta!

Ah funny you should ask that because I JUST got done taking the sucker down.

The cat knocked it over about 2 hours ago and most of my glass ornaments are busted and several strands of lights don't work anymore.

I had a complete meltdown when I realized that I had no one here to help me put it back up.

Now, I think it is rather funny though! I got my tree down before anyone else!

Rita.... are you implying you'd end up with a tree that you'd never have to "water"??

I just went and cut both of mine down...by myself, and got them on the roof of the van...by myself (thanks honey! )

Just have to wait for hubby to get home to help me put them up in the stand. Or should I even bother waiting?
