Woops! I thought that was the cat poster watch (even though it doesn't look like a cat!). I like the design anyway! Gosh, I just made two stupid mistakes right in a row...my brain is telling me it's Friday and time for a drink!

Here ya go, Sarah!! I get so many comments about the one on the left. The one on the right is the cat poster watch. (I think I need a drink after spending WAAAY too much time photographing my watches! I think a nice yummy White Russian is in order...)

Actually something tells me they both said. Sally as the original insecure winner for... Norma Rae(?)... and then Jim many years later parodying her when he was onstage for something. I guess depending on how old Sparkle Boy is, he may not have seen Sally doing it originally....

Wow..what is it with women and watches? I honestly thought I was the only person with a watch fetish...something I would never admit to....until now.

I love watches, don't even know how many I have. I just bought myself one for my birthday and it was a Fossil with hibiscus flowers on the leather band and on the face. Sooo tropically me.

I also HAD a 20 year old Gucci that cost me one month's pay when I originally bought it...and I lost it last year, in Wal Mart I think. That's what I get for goin to Wal Mart when my mom told me I should only shop in Neiman Marcus.

To replace the Gucci, I bought one of those Citizen Eco Drive's like Tommy posted, but not with all those bells and whistles. That would hang on my wrist like a handcuff. I like it though, it's my every day watch and it never needs a battery.

I have several Swatches too...one I got at the Atlanta Olympics (Swatch was a sponser) and one I got while in Germany. The first Swatch I ever bought was literally the day they came out...it was white with a blue compass on the face. I still have it but not sure it works.

And Tap, I have a Swiss Army watch too...got it for free. Well, maybe not free....all I had to do was smoke about 2 years worth of Marlboro cigarettes and then redeem the miles from the boxes plus pay a little extra toward it. Good thing I got it years ago, before ciggs went to $6 a pack or that watch would have cost me about $2,000!

I'm sure that's more than you ever wanted to know about one of my fetishes.

Oh Karen...BTW...I have that SAME watch you posted, the Timex. I also bought that to wear to the beach because it's waterproof!
