Pics from Riu Tequila anyone?

Looking for pics of Riu Tequila. Does anyone know if you can e-mail the hotel to request a roll-a-way bed and for a late checkout? Thanks for any pics or info. Tracie

Tracie, I stayed at Riu Palace last year which is right across the street from Riu Tequila. Riu Tequila is really nice with a great pool. Just a short walk to the beach next to the Palace. You can get some pictures at www.riu.com if you haven't already been there. Have fun!

When we stayed at the Rui Tequila, there was no problem getting a rollaway bed. It fit nicely between the bed and the patio door and my 14 year old didn't complain at all about sleeping on it!

While they won't give you a late check-out for the room, they will allow you to put luggage in a secured room and continue to enjoy your vacation until you have to leave... I think I remember locker rooms or a nice bathroom where you could change into shower and change into travel clothes.

We're heading back to the Rui Yucatan in a few weeks... we really enjoyed our last visit to the area.

Thanks for the info. Do they charge extra if you just store your luggage like you mentioned? And are you allowed to use the all-inclusive food/drink as well? Can't wait to go. It's going to go fast with Christmas fast approaching.

There weren't any extra charges at all! As long as you leave on your wrist band, there isn't a problem...

Thanks for the pictures Pam, they were great. It looks like a nice place. In September we stayed at the Iberostar Tucan, and that will be hard to top! The rooms looked nice, did you have a suite? Which building do you think is the best? Tracie

Hey Tracie we walked through theTucan it was so nice. We had building 2 it was close to everything. NO we didnt have a suit they are farthest away from everything.

You'll love the Tequila. The pictures dont do it justice. Even nicer! Beach is gorgeous, ffod great people are the friendliest. You must be going for March break (83 ddays) me too AGAIN went for break last year CYA there!
