2 cups water
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups mint leaves, packed
4 cups lemon lime soda
1 1/3 cup tequila or more!
Make the mint simple syrup the day before. Put water and sugar in saucepan over medium heat and boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add mint leaves. Let stand 2 hours to cool, stirring every once in a while, then put in refrigerator overnight).
Strain syrup into pitcher, pressing on mint to get all of the syrup out. Add lime juice, soda and tequilla. Serve over ice. ENJOY!

I make my simple syrup with natural cane sugar, the last batch I was going to try steeping the mint leaves but didn't. Next batch I'll try, thanks for the tip!
