We went to the park on Saturday. The "artisans" thing is supposed to start at 3pm, we were there at 5:30 or so. While the park is a great addition to the neighborhood, the local artisan thing has not taken off. There were about 1/2 dozen little table/booths set up, with some various handicrafts, and not many people buying anything. We felt a little bad for them, but such is life.
We thought that while the idea is geared towards tourists, not enough know about it and if they did they would find the selection of goods to be lacking. Kind of the dog chasing his tail syndrome.
Maybe the future will be brighter........ we miss our amazing farmers market in Boulder, CO, but not enough to move back, heh-heh-heh...too good here in MX.
There is another sign on ave. 15th between 8th and 6th that says something about a Sunday arts/attractions thing from 4-6 pm. Anyone know about that?
